Data Recovery
Studies show that a vast majority of businesses that lose data fail within the following two years. Worse yet, those numbers increase as each additional month passes after that. Customer lists, accounts receivable data, emails, contracts, and wide variety of other information resides on failure-prone hard drives and could disappear with a simple power spike, spilled liquid, or just plain-old mechanical failure.
Studies show overall hard drive failure rate failure of 2-4 percent. In some environments that number jumps as high as 13%. In many cases the data isn't always recoverable, or the cost of recovery exceeds the capacity of the business to absorb. ACS offers data recovery services in the event of a catastrophic failure of a computer or hard drive, but we recommend (and can provide) a reliable backup plan.
System Design
We offer office systems design services. We can assist you in analyzing your needs, determining the most cost-effective hardware and software solutions for your needs, and equipment and software providers. ACS can then provide installation and training services.
Where necessary, we can coordinate our services with other companies in implementating components of the system, if any, outside our range of experise.
ACS Announces Web Hosting Services
Advanced Computer Systems is now offering web hosting as an independent service in addition to our 'full service' web 
design and hosting services. Previously, ACS only provided hosting for clients who used Advanced Computer Systems' web design services. Package costs are based on required disk space and monthly traffic allowance. Packages begin at $4.95 per month.
Advanced Computer Systems also offers web design and hosting packages. Basic 'billboard' sites with one to four pages of static information start a $195 + monthly hosting fees ($4.95/mo). We can also design more complex sites, including interactive database driven systems - quotes available upon request.
Our web hosting packages include options including POP email accounts, spam filtering, MySQL database support, CGI and PHP support, and a variety of other features.
